X5-701, or "Syl", is one of the twelve X5s who successfully escaped from Manticore in 2009. Zack told Max Guevara that Syl had a long list of boyfriends and claimed to have bad luck with love.

Syl, along with Krit, joined Max Guevara, Zack, Logan Cale, and Donald Lydecker in an attack against Manticore after the death of her sister Tinga.

Behind the Scenes[]
- Syl was planned to reappear in "Freak Nation", but Nicki Aycox was unavailable and a new character named Cece was created.
- Nicki Aycox later played the recurring demon Meg Masters on the show Supernatural, which stars Jensen Ackles (Ben/Alec McDowell) as Dean Winchester.
